A Badass Mom in Her Power
Jan 18, 2026
Why remembering who you are changes everything
Alright—let’s talk about something that actually matters.
Especially if you’re a mom.
Let’s talk about a woman in her power.
Because a badass mom in her power isn’t perfect.
She’s not calm all the time.
She doesn’t have it all figured out.
She’s real.
The Myth of the “Good Mom”
I’m a teacher.
I’m a mom of two boys.
Married to a good man.
Our life is full—beautiful, chaotic, loud, loving.
And for a long time, I believed being a good mom meant putting myself last.
Always.
My needs could wait.
My joy could wait.
My body, my energy, my dreams—those could wait too.
But here’s what I’ve learned the hard way:
That version of motherhood slowly drains you.
And it doesn’t make anyone better for it.
What Power Really Looks Like
A woman in her power doesn’t disappear for her family.
She shows up as herself.
Her power is knowing who she is outside of everyone who needs her.
Her power is remembering she existed before the roles.
Her power sounds like this:
-
I matter too.
-
My energy matters.
-
My joy matters.
And saying that doesn’t make her selfish.
It makes her alive.
Where I Reclaim My Power
For me, my power lives in movement.
In music.
In dancing.
It lives on the water—sun on my face, wind in my hair—remembering that I’m more than schedules, responsibilities, and to-do lists.
A badass mom in her power:
-
Doesn’t ask permission to feel alive
-
Doesn’t apologize for wanting more
-
Doesn’t shrink to make other people comfortable
She expands.
She breathes.
She remembers.
Why This Changes Everything
Here’s the truth no one talks about enough:
When a mom comes back into her power, everyone benefits.
Her kids feel it.
Her marriage feels it.
Her home feels it.
Because the energy shifts—from depletion to presence, from resentment to confidence, from survival mode to living.
Your kids don’t need a perfect mom.
They need a powerful one.
Something Is Coming…
And that’s why I want to tell you this.
I’ve been working on something behind the scenes.
Something bold.
Something badass.
Something created specifically for women—especially moms—who are ready to reconnect to their power, their energy, and who they really are.
This isn’t another thing to add to your plate.
It’s something that helps you come back to yourself.
If you feel this…
If you know there’s more of you waiting to come back online…
Stay close.
This is coming soon.
And it’s for you.
Because you don’t need to become powerful.
You already are.
You just need to remember who you are.
A Badass Mom xo
